Love, Dreams and Magic. You will find these elements in most fairytales and all of my photographs.

Occasionally, I capture an image and it is complete, most of the time however it is just the beginning. Each photograph has a life of its own. Through the process of weaving together various images the original will often be unrecognizable once the piece is finished - like waking from a vivid dream overcome with strong emotional and visual impressions, yet unable to recall specific details.

I am continually inspired by my surroundings and disparities between the places I have called home. Growing up in New England I learned the meaning of unconditional love, living in NYC dared me to dream big and following the yellow brick road to LA I tapped into my own magic. Capturing many images while meandering, I playfully create an ecosystem of elements that do not ordinarily co-exist but are a reflection of my reality. As an artistic journalist, I endeavor to tell an entire story in a single image or series of images. It is such a thrill to visually translate the collective emotions expressed by a specific subject or event.

Music and film are integral to my life. Like photography, these are the mediums through which I best communicate, and through which diverse thoughts and ideas have been best communicated to me. Subsequently, I want to share this enthusiasm for storytelling via my photographs or directly to the young students I mentor. Most of us now have tools in the palm of our hands to document history, lift our voices and express our individual truths!
